I'm Ethan Holmes —
founder of BetterHolmes Co.
Full-time Construction Consultant living in Englewood, Colorado with my wife and two young kids. What started as late nights in my garage learning to code with microcontrollers blossomed into building documentation tools that the field actually wants to use — and plotting a neighborhood takeover on the fall lawn maintenance market.
This isn't a quest for money. I have a job. The intention is to build and share tools that produce better, easier, more trustworthy project documentation.
If you've worked in construction, insurance claims consulting, or property management, you know how much time is spent documenting site conditions. If you're on the receiving end of that documentation, you also know how poor most of it is. BetterHolmes exists to close that gap.

Iowa roots
Born and raised in Iowa, Ethan attended the University of Iowa where he became an All-American track and field athlete and a Big Ten Conference champion. The Midwestern reflex to do hard work, slowly and well, still drives the company.

Founded BetterHolmes Co. as an umbrella for inspection apps, documentation software, and property services. Tools first built in the garage at night and on weekends — now in production across roof surveys, photo reports, and field operations.
